I dreamt this morning of a man, tall, handsome & eager to meet me. He introduced himself and Kalum, we shook hands & he asked if we could keep in touch. He wanted to give me his contact info. I said sure. My heart & soul stood ground & waited, but my mind wanted to flee out of fear of being committed. But I waited and watched as he returned with his business card. My heart fluttered.
Kalum has Latin or Celtic origin (depending on your source) & means Dove.
I remember saying 'Kalum like Shallom' & seeing him smile and his eyes twinkle.
So I welcome interpretations, as I am discovering what it means on my own. Any thoughts?

It looks like a celtic word with a Latin suffix attached. UM is suffix assigning masculine gender to a word. The feminine suffix is a or ia... so probably it was a celtic word that the Romans borrowed and attached the male suffix too. All latin nouns have to have either a um or ia, or a at the end... but the origin of the Kal part is probably Celtic. Dream moods says this!
To see a dove in your dream, symbolizes peace, tranquility, harmony, affection and innocence. In particular, to see a white dove in your dream, represents loyalty, love, simplicity, gentleness and friendships. It may also signify a message and blessing from the Holy Spirit. You have let go of your thoughts of hate and revenge.
To dream that doves are mating and building a nest, symbolizes a joyous home life filled with love, tranquility, pleasure and security. So were there any other details you remember, like colors? What he was wearing, what you were wearing?
I suppose you could look at it litterally that you will meet a peaceful spirtual man who will make you very happy...
or...
It could be an attitude that will come over you, and be a spiritual influence to you. At any rate, it sounds like a good omen.

It could be an attitude that will come over you, and be a spiritual influence to you. At any rate, it sounds like a good omen. Well we were in a large store, like Target...he was wearing Target colors: Red and Khaki...the red was like a red work vest, lightweight, and the pants were Khaki...but not sure what color his shirt was - probably khaki too. He was a manager there, and I was looking around, not specifically shopping for anything in particular but looking around. I had a clipboard in my hands...I recall showing that I knew most of the products or location of items in the store because I used to work in one like it. So I was probably on an informal interview? I may have been looking for a job and he approached me with personal interest, not interest in me as an employee. I was looking for something that was the right fit for me to support me during this process. Why at a store like Target? I don't know but seeing as the unconscious uses imagery for meanings...Target is a large what? retail store that carries a lot of junk ;D SO there's Red, Khaki, Target, knowledge of target in service to getting a job that's in service to why I'm here in SLO. But it wasn't that I wanted a job at Target; it was more of me demonstrating that I'm capable of doing what would be requested of me. I knew the ins and out of the store. Ok, so whatever it is Target represents I know the ins and outs of it and the people that were interviewing me were impressed. And then Kalum showed up. Red and khaki are the stroe colors; they represent Target. So with Kalum wearing the store colors, he was someone with relations to it, on a higher lever in regards to hierarchy.
