So last night, after dance class, there was PURE rehearsal and we had a guest dancer show us some sacred circle dances from different cultures. So with some Irish ancestry in me, I really liked the circle dance from that culture...of course I enjoyed them all...since we got to dance. But what was so powerful about them, which I am sure no one else noticed greatly, was that we called a lot of 'things' to that room, mainly angels and thensome. I noticed it right away, and no one seemed to mentioned it...also because I could tell not everyone was really into it.
::)Ignorance in these kinds of sacred dances makes the participants seem very young.
Anyway...back in the class before the rehearsal, we did drum solos with different beats. One of them is called the 'Zar' and in Egypt they use it mainly as like a dance to exorcise the body, it's sort of trance like...and it's very deep. If it's played slow, that's what it's used for. I may be a spoiler for using ancient things in modern ways but although I really like the Zar, I don't do it unless I am going to use the energy I raise for a purpose, and not just in class. It involves a lot of head swinging, rotation, and brain bashing head moves, with arms flaying all over the place...pretty powerful but When I do dances liket hat things happen....so I just literally stood in class while everyone else did this dance.
So back to the sacred circle dances. Yes, there were tons of angels and other worldy entities there, unnoticed by many in a conscious sense...and I was just jolly as can be. So after it was over, I headed over to Starbuck's for a hazelnut cream with soy milk, Venti, and the guy that helped me gave me his free drink for the work day {that was very nice of him}. We also wanted my name so I gave him that too.
So when we went into Starbuck's it was a little windy, not snow no nothing...but as soon as we stepped out, it started snowing...big chunky flakes. It was so Magical...I was like wow, out of no where!! And then, as soon as we got into the car, it suddenly stopped...like how it started.
I considered it to be a magical blessing, after all that happened before the snow and free hot drink....mmmmmm.........
Then I had some weird dreams that made my mother nervous but put a big smile on my face.....
