i want to build my own computer, because i can make a really good one for pretty cheap as far as computers are concerned, and i was awondering are there any people \here who have made their own computers?
I'm talking about a barebone partially assembled computer.

My husband has. I just watch. I kinda know how in a way, but not really. Honestly it might be cheeper, but before you start buying check the internet for refurbished Dells Here is one link www.dell.com/outlet?dgc=ST&cid=20497&lid=661200Anyway my husband says it is usually cheeper to get a refurbished dell than it is to build one... especially if you don't want to use a lot of used and scavanged parts, which tend to be obsolete. Still it is good experience to build your own, but it's always good to shop first, and buy after you know what you want, and where you can get it cheeper.

soo.. after two months of browing and researching, one week of waiting, $460, and a day of manufacturing, i have one amazingly kickass computer.
but now i'm addicted to it, and i want to build another, just to use, but just to build... lol. *sigh* oh well, maybe i can make an ebay account?
