I took a shoulder bag I'd bought two years ago, with me to work today. I haven't used that bag since...this past winter. When I picked it up this afternoon, it was heavy. I got even heavier when I put my school book, snack, bottled water, keys, wallet and cell phone inside.
When I got to work, I helped give out juice to my students for their snack time and decided to eat my snack while I helped with homework. As I pulled out my zip-locked bag of white cheddar cheez-its, most of them happened to fall into my bag and all over the floor. I salvaged some, my kids giggled, and I went to helping out with homework.
At home, I decided to clean out my bag...and my gosh...the CRAP that was in there. Besides the cheez-its that recently fell into the trenches of my bag, I found a lot of old stuff that I really just did not need, from a least 2yrs ago.
The Past is very heavy. Just toss it out and your load will be so much more lighter....
