Have you? And if you have, has it disturbed you?
I've died at least twice that I can remember, neither or which disturbed me.
Once I was killed by a beast and my soul merely took control of my friend's body. XD The second time I just hopped into another scary dream, it was very odd. o.o;

O.o That's disturbing. xD And may I ask WHY you were under the dining room table sleeping? Although if you were on a carpet I can understand (carpets are fun to sleep on LOL).

I've almost died in a dream...it was a repetitive dream that didn't leave me alone for prob. a few years.
Explanation:I was riding on the back of one of those american fire-trucks across a huge-ass bridge down in arizona. It went over the grand-canyon(I think). It was in a 3rd person view sideshot, and the bridge was so long you couldn't see either side of it. My step-dad was driving it, and everything went fine until we got into the middle, then the whole bridge just snapped and I had a horrible falling sensation for like a min. before waking up on the edge of my bed getting READY to fall.

I have died twice in my dreams I was on the boat with my man at the time. And I fell asleep in the cabin room when I awoke the ship was going under and though I tried to get out I failed and I found my man right before I died he seemed to be okay he was on the rescue boat but they did not see me. He did but he told me it was too late...I had already died. I was just a ghost and he could not save me. The other is a repeating dream where there are millions of the living dead and they simply rip me apart, feasting upon my organs. I am always reaching out to the same person until I see that I am going to die anyways and I just retract my hand because I know it is my time and it would only destroy him to try to save me. When I pass in these dreams after the final breath is taken I seem to float above my body and look down. I feel the death take hold and that really troubles me. I remember death very well from my past lives and it seems to be becoming more real in my dreams. There are others however where I awake before the moment of death has passed. These tend to be during childbirth or in battle. All seem to be a bit different in the place it happens and the time it takes to pass. but what is said tends to be the same. I don't like these dreams

Huh... I've never dreamed of my pastlives before, though the first thing I always remember are the violent deaths. I find them rather cool, seeing as I'm not scarred by them. ^.^
I remember some recurring dreams, some with dinosaurs, but I never die. The other involves the sea.
I'm always on the beach and it's always sunset. I get the feeling that I am one of the children, but my mind lets me know that I am older than all of the adults there. I always start looking to the see and then I turn away and head to the cement. I'm not hurried, I know I have plenty of time to hang around, so I just stare at the children.
Suddenly people are shouting and screaming and pointing behind me. And they start to run away as fast as they can, adults don't appear to ever look for their children. I don't have to turn around because I know what is behind me, I knew since the dream started. So instead I climb the monkeybars and turn to look at what's behind me. I get the feeling that I'm smiling as other children are looking at me and doing the same thing. I always wake up before the tidal wave takes the entire city.
Oddly enough I kind of like that dream. When I said I have plenty of time I almost get the feeling that I mean I have "plenty of time to die". So, if I do have plenty of time to die, and there's no point in telling people to run for it... I just figure it's best just to sit back, relax and watch the sunset against the water, ya know?
In each dream it's mostly the same, only sometimes I'm on a cliff instead of the monkeybars. Or I've managed to walk up to the boardwalk. One time I felt rushes of water overtake the monkeybars and tickle my feet (most of my leg, up to my knees actually).
I like having the deadly tidal wave dream actually, I always have inner peace when I wake up. ^____^ I haven't had one recently, so it makes me kind of sad. >.>

I... die in my dreams quite often... usually in some horrific way. Last night for example, I was snatched by a shark while on vacation. Usually when I die in a dream though, I wake up like 90 times before I'm really awake. Then I wonder wtf is going on and if I'm really asleep for the rest of the day and wonder when the nasty killer clown from mars is going to jump out and get me.

Lan, Your subconscious is so cruel... to play such a prank on you as that. LOL That would be annoying.
I don't think I have ever died in a dream... though I have come very close many times. I usually wake up before I actually die. I have dreamed I was awaiting execution by lethal injection... I was stalling for more time, by asking for stuff. LOL They didn't seem to have a schedule or anything, so they were going along, at least for a while. They were actually waiting for me to get sleepy, so they wouldn't feel so bad about it. They decided they were just going to stick me in my sleep, so they wouldn't have face me, I guess. LOL
Other people do die in my dreams though, so that part really bothers me. I have a lot of dreams where people I care about get killed, and the more I care about them, the more likely i am to dream about them that way. I was talking to a new mom last week about worst fear dreams. Mothers get them a lot, about something awful happening to their kids. Most mothers have recuring dreams that their kids die or get hurt. Then they get very parinoid, and over protective.
The woman I was talking to, won't leave her kid with a sitter now, cause she is afraid they will set her baby on fire. This is probably very inconvenient, and I suppose she realizes it is irrational, but I respect her for not taking the risk.

LOL, I did both last night. xD Once in the middle of my dream I had a dream about my cat coming back almost perfectly healthy and letting me know that he was doing fine. Then I woke up and told my mom about the dream and how I felt better about his death (even though I was fine for the most part anyway). :3 THEN my dream jumped to another scene where I was in the body of a guy (kinda cute lol) who lived in the house I live in now. Anywho, I/he/we were trying to hide from an allosaurus whose eggs I had just so happened to discover crushed and thrown away in a giant trash can. The first time I'd "blinked" and gotten up so it was "gameover". The second time it had jumped me back and instead I ran in time to avoid detection. ^.^ I/he/we then ran down the neighborhood and broke into some lady's house to hide from the mayhem. xD Then I woke up at 3:45 AM and was totally irrationally paranoid about mutant lizards and zombies breaking in through my window... *sigh* I always get the we're-gonna-eatcha dino dreams.

At least you didn't dream about a giant potroast chasing you down the alleyway screaming in a really high pitched voice "I WANT YOUR CARROT PANTS!" like I did last night...
Ash: I worry for you Lan, I really do.
