As a child I dreamed constantly of the near future, small petty things irrelevant & non life changing, but for a child it was scary beyond words so I suppressed it. However when i awakened it returned, bloody dreams of the end, the war in the astral & the conflicts of the past present & future. I have learned to block a part of it by instinct & out of necessity but I'm yet to control it.
Suggestions?

Well it is not so much that you should suppress or control it, only to loose your fear of it, generally by loosing your fear in general. Try taking a more powerful attitude in life, and before you go to sleep, try to feel self confident, and powerful. Once you learn to bypass your fear, you may see something differently than you saw before.
Also you might try learning to meditate, and then build to light trance. It is possible to experience these kinds of things when you are awake, and more prepared for them. Taking this information out of the subconscious arena of symbolism, and gradually brining it towards a conscious type of understanding, may also clarify the impressions, and make it seem less dire.
I'm not saying we arent' at war, becasue we are at war, but being afraid of it doesn't help. You can learn to face your battle with courage, once you free yourself from the fear.

The same thing happened/happens to me, darkness, but it was never as bad as yours. Mine was trul irrelevent, but usually right. Something as simple as walking down the road with some friends, but nothing that ever really helped me and i usually forgot about it before it happened.

Another thing too, is that as we age, and develop spiritually our dreams change in character. I see you are 33, and so it could be that the system which creates your dreams has changed, from when you were a child. There are many kinds of prophetic dreams, some symbolic, and some litteral. Dream symbolism might explain some of your nightmares too. There is no reason to think that your dreams are litterally prophetic. ON the other hand it could be something happening on the astral right now. It is hard to tell if a dream is prophetic, or to interpret that prophecy until it has come to pass.... and even Nostradamas missed a few. I will say that most of my real horror dreams were either past life dreams, or dreams symbolic of my own inner struggle. Generally if I get a litteral prophecy it is told to me straight out, but that's just how my system works.

speaking of the future, no one is willing to look into my future and reassure me that my life is worth living, so i should just try to find a way to end it huh?
and of course, because i am depresse,d and keep acting negative, no one is willing to try to be positive with me...
ironic how things work.

Stoner,
For god's sake, there are several threads entirely devoted to your "miserable pointless life". Don't ruin this one.
As for the original question, I honestly don't have many dreams that mean anything at all, if I even remember them. I have some though, that mean a whole hell of a lot and I never had them until I started to wake.

Thank you very much Kg I will try what you sugested ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- To Stoner: To see the future is not a gift one can trigger, the vissions come to the person and in the majority of the cases it's not controlable when they come and what they show us, Perhaps that's why no one has offered. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Stoner, For god's sake, there are several threads entirely devoted to your "miserable pointless life". that's not what i understand.... or at least, in this case... i understand that one who can project to the astral can visit a corridore of time and pick and choose when and were to visit in history.
i dont know what ot believe though... heh... i need to learn how to get the experiances first hand, and so far, i question everything too much to learn anything at all.

I must beg the differ. It can be called upon, but many do not in order to avoid abuse or because they don't know so. Stoner, For god's sake, there are several threads entirely devoted to your "miserable pointless life". Don't ruin this one. No Ofence Dania, but that comment was not necesary, and much less against a depressed person... That opinion can go in an opposite direction, as well, mind you.

The future is never set in stone Stoner, and right now your future is your decision, and to a great degree so is everyone's. You have all sorts of choices, and you need to go ahead and make those. You are at a crossroads, and no one knows what you will do, except you... God probably knows but he isn't telling me.
In general your life would not be very hard to prognosticate. A ball moving in a direction will continue in that direction until it bumps against something else and then it will deflect into a somewhat predictable other direction... that is the premise of shooting pool. It is science, and if you are good at geometry, and physics you can be a pool shark, or a fortune teller. It isn't always just the gift... many times it is simple logic. On the other hand if a ball is sitting in a room by itself, and nothing is near it, or touching it, and it hasn't moved in a very long time... will it ever move? Will it suddenly progress out the door, and down the stairs... maybe... but it is a lot less predictable. You are in a better position to predict your future than anyone here, no matter how psychic they may be.
Remember the story of Ebenezer Scrooge. Yes it is Charles d*ckens week for us apparently, but you keep reminding me of his work, anyway Scrooge's future was all laid out, and it wasn't good, however the ghosts of christmas past, present and future interviened and showed him the errors of his ways, so that he changed and became happy and pleasant, instead of a miserable old grouch.
I really think that Scrooge is a good parallel for you. Even though you are antimaterialistic, you are still a miser. You are a miser of your time and effort. You are a miser of your affection, and you isolate yourself, and deprive the world of your gifts. Time and effort is the same as money... and so you are a miser of the money you never earned. You are not giving... you are not caring for others, and you are closing yourself off to a world that could benefit from your efforts... just the same as Scrooge.
If you want my opinion... I could play the ghost of Christmas Future... With your current attitude you will never do anything. Your sister will be taking care of you, because you will outlive your parents. She will keep you in the attic of her house, with your little bed, your computer and chair... She will try to do for you, but you won't appreciate it. You will be a very grouchy, crotchety old man. Your sister's grand kids will play pranks on you, just to hear one of your rants, which they will laugh at till they can't get their breath. Finally you will pass away at your computer chair during a hearty rant about how you hate the world, never compromised your values, and you never did nothing for no body!
...or you will sit in your room till you decide to do something else. Possibly one day between now and your death of old age, you will get off you chair and get a job, find a mate, and make a life for yourself. I hope you decide to do something, no matter what it is. will you ? That is up to you.
If you go out and really try, and keep trying you will succeed in whatever you want to do. I am very confident of that. As long as you keep trying you will eventually succeed at what ever you want. As long as you don't put rediculous limitations on yourself, or give up and start whining cause it is too hard, you can do anything you like, and you will be good at it.
