Three weeks ago my husband lost the huge contract that's been mostly supporting us. Strangely though my husband and I are both looking at this as an opportunity to do bigger and better things. We both feel excited and freed. I feel like I am paroled from prison because I have an actual NEED to go back to work. I am actually obligated to do something I WANT to do for a change.
I want to do something... other than my weekend business, and being a wife mom and daughter person who does errands and domestic crap. I've never been very domestic, and keeping house, when you are as bad at it as I am, it is just morbidly depressing. Anyway it has been an exciting three weeks, of trying to figure out what to do, and I am no closer to finding a job than I was, but I really really want to do SOMETHING< and I know I can. I could work for others or work for myself, but either way I have to find something profitable. In the meantime my weekend business has been turning record business, for the last couple of weeks so I know I am being blessed. I am just looking for a direction.
Don't get me wrong, I am nervous aabout it, and worried that I may NOT be able to find something... but deep down I know I can. I am just looking for a direction to aim in mostly. In the mean time I've had some strange omens that I am not sure how to interpret them.
Today Destiny threw a stuffed Snoopy at me. Really... a little girl named Destiny came by my shop in her stroller and of course I was talking to her, and her parents, and she laughed and threw a stuffed toy at me. Yay!!! that must mean something, and by the way she's got a great pitching arm for a two year old. LOL
I also had a really odd dream... I've never had one like it... tell me what you make of this.
A Medieval King is laying on a bed in some sort of sleep or stasis. His silver sword, large like a claymore, is laying on the floor beside him. He had once been clutching it, but someone had recently taken it out of his hands and tossed it on the floor. He is clad in a red shirt, but he has some chain mail and light armor on his shoulders and metal gauntlets on his hands. He has a kind face and a redish brown beard, which is well trimmed despite his long sleep.
Even though he lays as a deadman on the bed, I scurry to him for protection from a great enemy. I try to hide myself on the distant side of the bed. The enemy follows though and since I am unable to wake the king, I narrowly slip his grasp, by sliding under the bed and out the other side, more quickly than would be humanly possible. I try to grab the sword from the floor where it had fallen, but I am unable to hold it properly. I hold it for a moment and stand off the enemy, before fleeing downstairs, to a room which is like a restaurant or tavern. I try to mingle and mix with the crowd to avoid being noticed. I noticed the enemy and avoid him altogether. I try to formulate a plan to "awaken the twelve kings." I somehow knew there were 11 others somewhere, and had a guess where four might be, but I had no idea how to awaken them... but thought I could find out, if I had enough time. The enemy did not want me to awaken them.
The weird thing is that though my adversary was right in front of me, I never actually saw him. I reacted to him as if her were a large male, but I didn't see his face or even get an impression of his form as far as a visual, but he was a large male... I just could not see him. I could sense him in an unmistakable way, It just wasn't a visual way. I saw maybe a vague form, but not really... it was like I could almost see him, but not exactly, yet I knew exactly where he was, when he was near me. I felt I could not defeat him in battle, and would need to awaken one or more of the kings to do that, but I knew I could outsmart and evade him... and be a plague to him. I just couldn't win in a direct conflict.
Now what does this mean? I did a search on line for twelve kings, and apparently there were many instances in which 12 kings are mentioned... and 12 is the symbolic number for kingship. It means Kingdom, including godly and heavenly kingdoms... and everyone from the Britons to the Myans to the Jews had 12 Kings... so it is hard to pin down, but this guy looked northern european. He has a powerful norse/celtic type of build, and he was really big. So anyway I am thinking this must be some sort of mesage because the dream was so unlike my usual dreams.
