I can't remember the tune anymore, or the words...
The most important thing is that the dream took place in a bayou, and this bayou was dying. After I had the dream (which in itself is only important towards the very end where I see the bayou kill a couple for not entering and a leaving with the proper rituals), I had an OBE where I met a gator, crawled inside it, and was lead to this rural town/wannabe city. I walked for a long time, but it went by so quickly. I brushed passed people as if they didn't matter- because they didn't- I walked through traffic, into strange buildings, and past indignant people. I believe I ended up in some sort of tattoo parlor, but it was located around the heart of the swamp. This heart was a bit more than my height, and perhaps its girth was thrice that of my own. And it was dying. I walked up to it, pressing my cheek against its black mass (black is like an emotion, not a color- it means death of lack of being) and said to it that I knew it was dying, and that I could take its blood into myself. It agreed (not with words or feelings or even colors, but with some very low transmitted emotion- like how elephants and whales can transmit extremely low chords human ears couldn't hope to hear), and I bit this heart, drinking its blood. I only drank a stomach full before collapsing onto the floor, and the heart flattened onto me, the remained of its blood being absorbed into my skin. It was at this point where I recovered, got up, and left the carcass to walk to the nearest water source (sadly very small due to development). As I walked across the streets I grew taller and larger, until I was a bit like the 50 ft woman). It was then I clearly saw a link to the stream, and my gator guide.
I forgot to mention earlier, but this is how the gator guide works:
You walk up to the gator, and he opens his mouth wide. You get down on your hands and knees, kneel and stare into his mouth. Explaining what this means is hard. It's like when you stare down into his gullet, you are seeing the many possible choices of life, and one stringed lit path is the one you are on, while the others are the ones you could be on. The black ones (which blend into his dark cavern yet emit their own light) are the possibilities you have forsaken (for now, at least). I don't know what happens when you enter his mouth, because that's not how you get back to your body. So, you stand back up and walk to his left side -your right- and swing your leg to his other side- as if you were riding him, but you are still standing. It is at this time you leap back to a crouch and sink into his flesh. You will be covered in his blood and skin and muscles, you will see as he sees, but it will not hurt him. It is then that he leaps into a water source and uses this system to enter this deep mass of water. It feels like this water is the astral mother of all water on Earth. Through her, you can go anywhere, so long as there is a single drop of water to meet you on the other side. I hadn't considered it before typing, but I think you could use a host body as a water source if there was no rain- such as using a camel or human while in the desert. But anyway... He brought me to the creek near my house and, from there, to my room. I then melted into my body, and woke up a bit, but didn't move.
One thing I did notice is that as I was walking, my physical feet twitched a bit in time to my long steps- probably a side effect of my mind guiding my astral body. The other thing is that when I woke up from the dream, my heart felt as if it was going to burst, but I was unafraid. It really did feel too swollen for my body. When I came back from taking in the bayou heart's life force, my heart was fine.
I didn't look like myself at all, more like a swamped out version of my higher self.
