Has anyone else noticed that things in the physical that have a rather large following, be they games, stories, or movies, seem to have an effect on the astral? Lately, when I project, I've been seeing similarities between what is happening to the area around one of my friend's astral swellings to a game that we've both been playing for a while called Warhammer 40,000 Dawn of War. The area around his astral home is slowing being taken over by a group that reminds me a HELL of a lot like the Imperium of Man. Along with that, I've seen entire areas that remind me of Star Trek for years now but I've never thought anything of it. Same with the book Eragon... the elves I've seen remind me of that book. I don't know, maybe I'm just thinking too much on it, but it's still something to think about.

lol I have seen that before too. I think the thing is if someone (or a lot of someones) is thinking hard enough and constantly enough about something, they "create" it in the very fluid astral/collective mental planes.

IT'S SCARY! Though I kinda like having a star base like Babylon 5 floating around... (is a sci-fi geek)
Ash: He used to be better, but then he discovered furry art... not to be confused with yiff. Humans are odd... but Lan's not human... which makes him REALLY odd. Foxes are normal. *blinks when Lan threatens me with duct tape*

No, epona IS the horse, although epona's not supposed to look like she's on roids >.<
But my friend that i used to talk to convinced me that you could actually go to worlds in the astral that were game worlds. and you coudl talk to the characters and stuff. and it sounded very plausible to me, becuase if someone(s) put enough thought and energy into making the character, couldn't they make the character? Kinda like making an elemental, except it wouldn't be an element...

The main reason that Games match the astral, is that games are usually based on myths, astral occurances that are recorded in various ledgends, and even religions. This tradition was definately true of the original RPGs (Role Playing Games) which were played between people back in the 70's without the use of computers. Dungeons and Dragons was the most famous series but there were others. People would get together, and someone would be the Dungeon Master and read the basic story line. The party would decide what to do, and then the caller would explain the decision to the dungeon master for each action they took. There was a whole set of books that went with that game... of course they were purchased seperately, but most DMs had like 25 or so of these references. I happen to have a set cause my husband used to be my Dungeon Master. In more ways that one but that is another story. LOL Anyway I also study ancient religions and various beliefs of other cultures. (Serious studies) I find the D&D books one of the most ecclectic collections of various myths, ledgends, and religions from all over the world I have ever seen. In short the D&D stuff comes from ledgends of what happens in the astral... like gods, goddesses, ect. They even have a RPG about the Demurge, and angels etc. Which matches a lot of what I have experienced, and I didn't even know the game existed till way after I experienced a lot of stuff the game documented. It isn't that our lives copy the games or even that the games produce our astral lives. The fact is that number one the games are desigined after documented ledgends, and number two a lot of game creators are apparently documenting their own astral experiences by making them into video games. I think that is the case because recent events in the astral are also recorded. I think the code heads, and the artists that work on Video Games and expecially the designers and writers are active on the astral realm. They know what is going on there because they are a part of it... I don't believe that they are creating these things in most cases so much as being fellow participants. I do suppose though that gamers might have an impact on the outcome of spiritual battles because of the energy they put into it, against real spiritual entities. I mean if you fight a specific enemy in a game, then maybe that enemy feels it as an astral attack to a degree. I am sure that with most entities, one attack like that would be no big deal, but say an entity was a major villian in a very popular game, I think it might adversely effect him eventually. Think of millions of people getting a visual image of you and trying to kill it. From that standpoint... well I hope the entities to attack in all the games are the bad guys. I can just see demonic beings sitting at the bedside of a sick friend... The thing in the bed moans. "Is he OK? What is wrong with him doctor?" "According to my diagonstic tests, he has two million gamers attacking him constantly. IT has given him a migrane. He keeps having nightmares of exploding in 364 bit color." LOL Kim

I will break our non-existant rule and post again Yay! Double Post. Epona is a celtic Goddess of Horses. She was also well know by the Romans. She was considered a gardian of horses, and her image was used frequently in stables. She is also a fertility goddess. The Romans considered her a goddess of their Cavalry. "The cult of Epona was spread over much of the Roman Empire by the auxiliary cavalry, alae, especially the Imperial Horse Guard or equites singulares augustii recruited from Gaul, Lower Germany, and Pannonia. " en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Epona Because of the influence of the Roman Empire on the known world of that time, and the importance of horses in most cultures, she was appreciated, in many, many cultures.

What are some of the entities in Final Fantasy... I don't play a lot of video games. My husband does, but I don't pay much attention to them. I think I played Final Fantasy 7 or something like that a very long time ago, on Play station 1? but I can't remember for sure. Anyway what are the names of the monsters or bad guys in Final Fantasy, or the benevolent higher entities for that matter? Oh and I found it. The game I play in my astral life. I came up on this site in a word search. It came up in a thread, and I read about a dozen posts just amazed, cause I didn't understand at first it was a game. I was like "these are my alies!!!" LOL Us old folks don't always get technology. I felt like the old guy who was talking to the little people trapped inside the TV set.
