Magick cannot be defined, unless you understand one simple concept.
"We wish, we will, we have."
"We wish."
The idea, the first concept and step in the working process (generally called magick). This idea is then motivated by the act and fact the originator is wanting of it, and so it manifests into a state of probability (not possibility, mind you).
"We will."
This can be trickier to understand, but bear with me a bit. The will is a force within the mind of humans (in our case, however it can differ with other 'kin). Using this force, it acts as motivation to propel the Wish (idea/concept wanted) from probability into possibility. Within possibility, there are several factors involved for the formula. These include up to, or all:
1. Time
2. Space
3. Method
4. Karma
5. Influence
Sometimes, depending on the working, other factors may be involved.
However, step two ("We will.") is where many beginners (and some beyond) may and can fault. If you doubt, AT ALL, you will not obtain the said object/event/occurance that you are wanting, the possibility can decrease or disappear completely.
"We have."
Success, and failure. This is where karma can kick in, if not stalled (as can happen). The success lies in where the event/occurance/object is obtained. The failure lies in: where, when, how, and even why. This affects other people, not just YOU. Hence the warnings you may hear from magick users (fake/new and not) about what you wish for, because you CAN suffer for it. This discludes, however only on majority, acts of selflessness/"good." Helping others, healing, whatever it is you might do for another. Remember, however, helping others CAN be an act of selfishness.
