My world is deep in a forest, across a great lake and beyond some mountains. My home is in a cave in the forest. I feel its that way so i can be closest to my element. In the cave there are thousands of candles lining the walls of the cave. In the center of the cave is a pool of water that represents my meditative state. If the water is disturbed then my mind is uneasy, if the water is still then my mind is in the proper state for meditation. Outside the cave is a tree of light..kina. Its its trunk has a slight glow to it and the leaves always seem to drip stars like it was dew. The air smells sweet and the only sound in the forest is the trickling of springs and the sound of the wind. Anyway that's my world thanks for letting me share it!!

That sounds beautiful. It reminds me of the paradise on the other side of Sheol. Sheol is not the awful place some seem to think it is BTW. It's really just a metaphoric symbol... but real at the same time, at least on some level, for the stages of grief, I use it as a meditation sometimes. It's a journey which has great rewards as one works through it.
On the other side of Sheol is a beautiful paradise, one passes a pool before emerging from the tunnel like cave through a small waterfall. Then there is light and beauty and perfect trees. There are also some elderly men at a feasting table somewhere nearby.
Anyway your description reminded me of that. It sounds lovely though. I like the thought of the pool in a cave especially. It sounds comforting.

It is . If I ever feel life is crushing me I always retreat into my cave in the forest and wait it out lol. Im glad you can connect in some way. This only furthers my belief that we are all one. Im also glad you shared your meditative "happy place" with me. thank you.

Yes, well the other half of the cave is a little scary till I got used to it. The entry is a long dark tunnel, with red robed monks. At first I kind of avoided them, but once I started talking to them I found them to be very helpful. I only visit Sheol though, it isn't actually my home. I like it though sometimes.
I go to my castle in heaven most of the time. That is more like where I go when I want to feel safe, and more like my home. IT's really just perfect, and there are a lot of places in heaven I go to... and I go to some of my friend's worlds occasionally. There are many beautiful worlds. I am happy to know of another one.

my, "world" is an infinitely large midnight oceanscape, with blue rays of light shining down from a starry night. The Ocean itself rises and falls to an unseen heartbeat with threats of light interconnecting the various realities together, a visual metaphor for the connectedness of all things brought forth from the uncreated, which is to say the starry night, inhabited by the celestial hosts looking down and observing, threading and maintaining the whole shebang. There is no moon to speak of, there can be but usually there isn't one, most of the light coming from above between some of the clouds and beyond.
The waters are creation, and all things of the created type, the sky above, the void of formlessness, the mind of creation and the creator from which, pretty much everyone and their mothers come from.
At least, that's my current interpretation of my, retreat, for lack of a better term.

That sounds so beautiful Xav!!! Great to hear from you! How are you? Merry Christmas!!!
Things are still great here in the castle... planet earth has of course run amok but maybe President Obama will catch it and calm it down. LOL Being in a role of leadership right now is a bit like trying to catch an angry wild elephant. LOL I just realized the pun with the Republican Symbol... not what I meant but I suppose it fits even better that way. I just pictured Obama chasing an elephant and now I see Sarah Palin jumping out and startling it into a whole new direction every time it slows down.
Anyway things are rough here on earth but thankfully we all have our havens and heavens. They are still there, with stars and seas and castles... and all the other astral and spiritual places.
