So, what do you think about Nicholas Flammel and his "Legacy."

I honestly don't know what to think. I've heard of him in Harry Potter, and some old legend, like many things found in Harry Potter, and I doubt there was a stone that could turn anything into gold, but there probably was at one point someone named Nicholas Flammel. He probably wasn't important, though.

Actually(not trying to impress my beleifs upon you) I read from a source that actually tells you about where everything from HP originated and it told of Nicholas Flammel in it to, and said that he was an alchemist that was rumord to have created the "Philosephers Stone" but soon vanished after it was "created"

it seems to me that many of you would be aghast as to how closely and/or symbollically cartoons and videogames parralell the supernatural reality that most of us are shielded from.
full metal alchemist, Naruto, Neon Genasis Evanglion, the legend of Zelda, the Tales series (tales of phantasia for example), and many others.
they all implement parts of reality, and sometimes fully symbolise it even, like the matrix.
immagination is the basis of reality you know.

I was just about to mention Full Metal. I find that most of the Japanese Anime are very...fascinating in that they do give some light to reality. ONe of my favorites is Gundam Wing. I dount in this lifetime that we'll have COlonies but that seems realistic. Discovery channel did something baout two years ago on a Man that wanted to have resorts in space. You'd think the artists knew more....

I knew he was a real Alchemist, I know, but I'm reading a fiction book about him now, called Nicholas Flammel The immortal secrets, it's really good so far! It's all about him and his wife Pernelle, and two twins that aren't related to them, but they have special auras. So, the action is heating up! They're fighting an Elder Race, that was here before the humani and I'm about half way through and LOVE IT! I reccomend it to all! ; )

Sensitive information: the philosopher's stone is not an ingredient to the elixir of life, quite the contrary, the elixir of life is the means to create the philosophical stone. Philosophical gold, when added to philosophical silver, and left to digest themselves together will produce philosophical stone. Living Sea Salt and Living Morning Dew bring about the elixir of life, but i will not share, yet perhaps, how. the truth is yet to be tested, but if/when i put it to the test, i will report back here
