well from what I've found out so far, it is a spiritual ability which once learned carries on in a family's blood for 6 or 7 generations, it was named the demon's eye because those who developed it used it mainly for battle, it increased one's perceptiveness so you could follow the slightest of movements, thus they appear not only to know exactly how and where an opponent was attack, they would be a ble to mimic the opponents form completely, thus where it got the name "demon's eye" The user of the ability and his children for 6 or 7 generations, were demons on the battle field.
Spirit eye was for those who developed the ability but used it to trace energy patterns, slight movements in the air and on plants and other objects in search of spirits and other energy beign which could give them answers. Where most of us would see a spirit in our mind's eye, those who developed teh ability of the spirit eye would see the beings as if they were physical entities and in later generations, instead of seeing it as a gift, they saw it as a curse and once again, the ability was considered the "demon's eye" because you saw "demon's"
At least that's what my research has found out. It may be entirely wrong but that's all I know about it, thus why I'm trying to find out more information.

a year and a half later, the thread opens again lol
That actually sounds pretty interesting and beneficial in some cases....though of course it has its negative implications and shouldn't be done without serious contemplative meditation on the subject. Though it also sounds pretty beneficial in some cases.
In either way, it sounds like a forsaken secret, If everyone had the spirit/demon's eye then there would be some crazy trouble.

Sounds a lot like the sharingan from Naruto. But I am sure that it is possible, just very...hard? to achieve.

lol my thoughts exactly Sephity, But as Shadow of light stated previously, it was shared down every 6-7 generations. Though i am curious where Shadow found this info....its a secret for a reason.
In fact, i wouldn't be too surprised if thousands upon thousands of ancient knowledge & wisdom have been lost from the days of old. Sects die out, Cultures blend & branch into other ideologies, while forsaken their traditions. It happens in every society.

Yea, I know what you're saying.
I am actually contemplating a skill that i could learn similar to this(in theory) that I can maybe pass on to my kids, etc. etc.
I want to get good at 'glamour' magick, as shallow as that seems, but mostly just changing the color/shape of your eyes.
I recently got a pentacle hourglass(admittedly cheap), and i think i'm going to use it as an inbetween. I'll prob. just sit there meditating with it with the intent to change my eyecolor everyday for an hour until i get it.

Good luck with that. This "spirit eye" thing seems pretty damn normal actually. LOL Being able to see an opponent's every movement is something that's learned through training in martial arts (I was taught to watch for some specific things in TKD and yes, if you're good, it does appear as if you psychically know what your opponent is up to before they do anything.) Seeing energy/sensing energy is also pretty normal, and is also a part of some martial arts training. (depending on the art, and the teacher). Nothing demonic about it.

Yes, Shaoling Kung-fu does do a LOT with energy in Qigong training level(which is very advanced).

Information has been hidden, lost, killed for, and burned. Wars over the tinyest details have been waged which wiped out all sects but one. The Catholics, though many were killed on their side, they always managed to hold down any information, no matter what the cost in human life. OF course it isn't the fact they were Catholic, a lot of groups would do the same if they had the power. Some information has been found, but a lot of it is just gone from the physical realm. It is still embedded deep in our subconscious mind though, and it is available on the astral.
To make it even more confusing, words like Spirit Eye have a nice spooky ring to them, so they have been used for more than just one thing. I really thought he was asking about something else, till he explained.
I agree with Dania though, what Shadow is describing isn't all that strange, especially for us. I wouldn't classify it as demonic either, or even unique.

this is in Street fighter Alpha generations, a movie.
i dont know much, let alone i learned all i know from a cartoon, but it unleashes untamable rage until the cycle is broken. however, the otehr generations can still go on to spread the rage.
it becomes more powerful to more rage is unleashed. and consequently, more irresistable.
of course, in SFA, it is refered to as Dark Hado.
just as well, it can be used in both calm and raging situations. it can be harnessed and used for good, but if you are born into a generation after, you will find it a lot harder to resist, especcially if your previous ancestors killed with it a lot.
this only makes it more powerful and harder to resist, but no more or less evil or holy.
like i said, it can be used for good and bad, it all depends on the willpower of the user.

wow, I leave for a while (not by choice) and focus on other things and answers come to certain questions. I'll look into the naruto and street fighter routes. Every story has a begining and I'll try find where those began.
