In general i have been feeling much better lately. I feel like I am really completely in my body for the first time in years. I mean most people want to OBE but I've been hard pressed to IBE for so long. Anyway I'm back in the physical realm now, but I had a very odd dream Friday morning, during the two hours I slept...
In the dream my family and I were living in a garage. It was much like my aunt's's garage and my cousin and his family do live in it. It has three rooms off to the side of it, but anyway in the dream, Bear was complaining that he was hot, so I was filling up this kiddie pool with a hose. He kept on complaining, and this snake came up and rested on the edge of the inflatable pool. He was about six foot long and about as big around as a thiin woman's arm. He was a sort of blueish steel grey, with lavender spots. He rested and flicked his tongue. Bear wanted me to "do something about that snake," but I let it stay, and he was kind of afraid of it, but I wasn't. I enjoyed looking at it. (I researched snakes, and the snake was a lavender corn snake... don't know if I've ever seen one before but it matches exactly.)
Then a wolf came in or a Malimute dog, I wasn't sure which even in the dream... but it was large, like over a 100 pounds, and it was about waist high on me. It went to a little room in the NW corner of the garrage, and I fed him some dog kibble. I was wondering if this was a dog or a wolf, and I was talking to him as he ate. I asked him if he was a dog or a wolf, and he looked up at me and growled, his lip pulled up on one side, and he showed his teeth, but then he went back to eating. The wolf wanted me to pet him, but I was a little afraid because he'd obviously been in a fight, and I was afraid of possible rabies.
Then Bear asked me if there was any food, and I said there was something in the oven, and I thought it was hot dogs, but I wasn't sure. He jerked open this little toaster oven and reached in without a mit. He threw the pan down angrily, and said disgustedly, "You burned the bread, and where's that meat? Where's the damn hotdogs?" He started rustling around in some cabinets, and looking around as if he expected to find hotdogs somewhere, but I suddenly remembered there wern't any.
I looked down on the floor, and there were some golden brown, rolls and a little loaf of bread. The pan lay crooked on the floor where Bear had slung it after burning his hand. The toaster oven was knocked crooked too. I started picking the bread up off the floor and said, "they aren't burned, but there is no meat, I guess I forgot what was in the oven. Do you want the damn rolls or not?... cause that's what we have!"
Isn't that weird? Anyway I've been delving into my worst fears lately, and so that's kind of expressive of that, but the wolf and the snake and the bread seemed like very interesting symbols.
