o.O I think I'll just put this on this board..heh...
Note to readers: I made this in late July and it was really made just for my convenience. So sorry for the crappiness (too lazy to edit any of this), I promise my next ones will be better^^;
[glow=red,2,300]Introduction[/glow] Some species will be a union of other species. Such as ones you would never expect to combine essenses. It seems weird at first but if you think about what each induvisual species has to offer in the combonation it usually works out. Example (haven't actually encountered one...): Black leopard (panther) and an owl. While on the surface two different creatures what they represent is similar. A panther represents unknown, stillness, silence, stealth, night, healing, darkness, hidden truth, fearlessness, swiftness, perserverance, beauty, cunning and strength. Their circle of power are the dark moon and winter in general. An owl is very similar, representing wisdom, the ability to see things that are hidden, stealth, swiftness, darkness, freedom, dreams, shape-shifting, secrets, omens, clairvoyance, astral projection, magick, deception, observation, total truth, night, death and misfortune. A union of these to creatures would be a very formidible ( and reliable) force.

[glow=blue,2,300]Gazelk (Gazealia, Gazelkia, and Gazelka and other names...too many names) [/glow] Here’s my definition straight from my [shadow=red,left,300] Book of Names [/shadow](No you can’t go out and buy one ). A cross between gazelles and foxes in appearance, gazelk are just one of the many species combinations you may run across. Their tails are that of a fox, mix of red and earthy browns. Their head is a cross between the two. Some sport fangs while others have a more deer-like face. Both male and females have large, black, swirled horns (the male’s are traditionally larger). Their pelt colors range from a mix of dun/tan to darker browns and a fiery red to a rust red. Their heights (at full size) range from a medium sized horse to a small elephant (I’ve yet to see one that big but they are cross with me and have firmly said it’s true…). Gazelk enjoy grass and leaves. Sometimes they hunt but it is more likely to see them feasting upon dead animals or a creature that had threatened them first. Some however prided themselves in their hunting skills. If you find yourself upon the territory of a gazelk try and be a friendly as possible, if they tell you to go, go. If you are lucky enough to befriend a gazelk you have a greater chance of being welcomed into the herd. Gazelk are dependable in times of need and will always back up a friend in battle. They are indeed true friends. Just don’t tick them off .

They are creatures I've encountered on the astral. So if by refs you mean actual sites or books there are none. xD Hmmm, or at least none I've seen. ;D I suppose I'll have to modify the gazelk arcticle. It is a bit short, nothing on thier customs x.X;

Hehe, personal experience is fine, actually. I was just curious. And also, did you name these yourself or did you borrow the term?[/color]

They told me that was their name/names. IMO they have too many! I am normally not good at listening to names (I'm challenged on that astral aspect lol), but those ones they said. For the rest of the things I post, most of the names will be terms I made for them (thankfully they don't mind).

Thanks for posting that! Almost everyone who has the ability to hear in the astral, has trouble hearing names. Yet that is the first question people always ask you. I have this problem a lot and it always makes me feel so stupid.
I don't really understand why it is so difficult, except that it is a thought transfer, and when you to get to names, and nouns for things that aren't standard, or words we have never heard before, that requires listening on a different level, than just hearing a story which comes in pictures as well as sounds. This not only happens with creatures from other worlds, where there might be a language barrier but also American disincarnate spirits, who speak English. I know most people have this problem, so thanks for mentioning it.

Names are very annoying, especially foreign ones. I'm still trying to figure out how to spell the air elemental's name. >.<

I've tried to creat 2 air elementals before....I think my latter one worked....mainly becuase it drained so much fuggin' energy from me that I was tired for a friggin' week straight....oh, i hope it worked. I think the energy just dissipated though

Create one? Cool, I've never tried creating an elemental before, not an actual one anyway. ;D I made a guide on how to create entities a long time ago, I'll have to load it up. ;D I'll warn you, it's a little cooky.

I'm just letting everyone know that I'm about to do some tiding-up on this board (if you could call it that ). so I'm going to try to organize things better (I'm not one for organization, lol xD). Anyway, I've finally started working on my next article. It is on my FAVORITE astral animal race yet... *swoon* ;D So wait and see.
