not just crystals, but an array of stones have power to heal and aid you... for instance, a moss agate will (help) tie you to the earth, and can aid with gardening. opal is supposed to open your psychic mind and permit all psychic abilities. sapphire aids in communication and conveying abstract thoughts (i think i REALLY need sapphire) diamonds are like superchargers, they enhance the power of already active stones... i have a little booklet... er... somewhere... it tells a lot more than i can repeat off hand

What about moonstones. I am very attracted to the energy of moonstones. I also feel a lot of great energy from crystal quartz, rose quartz, and amber. I have a lot of rose quartz, but my absolute favorite is moonstone.

Thanks Del. love my moon stone ring. It puts off a sort of blue glow, on the upper right corner, which has gotten a lot stronger since I have been wearing it. It is a very luminous stone, and I think it has great energy.

Rose Quartz: It's all about love...love for yourself first and then to attract the same kind of love towards yourself. Spirit Quartz: found in Africa, a very powerful and intense mineral. Use it to amplify your creativity, for bringing into fruition your goals, wants, etc.... {very expensive might I add} Selenite: it's uses are great for healing and purification. With having to use other things to purify your lot of gemstones, Selenite not only purifies everything in it's vicinity, but it's self as well. Del's recommendations: Selenite Wand to purify the auras after a day out, to align the chakras and to ease aches and pains (physical and emotional), Quartz crystal (one point wih a flat base preferable), and a clear mind. Carry it with you and your day will be all the more comforting and calming. But do cleanse yourself after you come in and on a daily basis.

I absolutely adore alexandrite. It's rare, and expensive, but the lab grown variety is far less expensive and very beautiful.
Rose Quartz, Moss agate, amethyst, moonstone, amber, labradorite, and especially rutilated quartz are some of my favorites.

I've always liked onyx and smoky quartz.
OH! and emeralds and sapphire.
Ash: Onyx, silver, ruby and emerald for me! hehe
Neither of us know exactly what they mean, but I know that onyx is a protection stone.

Emerald is similar to sapphire in clear thinking... i think i know what happened to that little booklet, and alas, i cant get it... it's at my mom's house, and my mom's house is at the park, and the park i was evicted from...... soooo.... any decent internet sites that have info on the powers of stones are appreciated ;D
