Stoner: Of course you have a purpose...we all do. I think you'll discover it soon enough. You have to have patients though, or else it probably wont come to you. That wouldnt make you very happy, now would it? Obsession will eventually lead to unhappiness.
lol, no you dont have to kill yourself, but going insane isnt really the better thing to do. Save your sanity while you still can...else you end up like me .

paitents... hehe i nkow, it's the same lecture again..... lol been here done this... but honnestly, if my physical life werent so bleak, i wouldnt HAVE to obsess ove rthe spiritual in order to feel like there's a reason for my existance, though i KNOW, in the back of my head there is, untill i experiance the FEELING, KNOWING is useless, and in fact just a tease, which only furthers my insanity lol really, all in all i think god screws with me for shits and giggles

Please, tell us a little about your race. What your world was like, what the "people" were like, the creatures who lived on your world, and anything that you can tell us.(You are not required to tell us of or about your race ^-^) Well, I think that I'll respond to this (finally, I'm such a lame lurker lately). I will use my dragon life memories to answer this, because they are the most detailed ones I have. My world was varied, but I knew mostly that it had lush rain forests and thickly grown plains, and snowcapped mountains. The sky was a pale green. I don't know how many animals lived there, but there were for certain dragons (of many, usually solid colors, but some had spotted areas or different colors on their undersides), and smaller, fuzzed creatures that had long necks and legs, stood on all fours, and had an odd posture. Like a brown, fuzzy, screwed up miniature giraffe or something. The dragons that I remember walked on all fours, and weren't as intelligent as you would expect. Their young were born from eggs, and were cared after by both the mother and the father, and named by each as well. As for a better description of the dragons, they were covered in hide and they walked on paws with four digits, and their claws were retractable. As for the paws shape, well, it was very strange (hard for me to describe, but it wasn't anything like any animal we know). Their tails were prehensile and slightly long, but weren't very long. Less than half the body's total length, but more than a quarter. They were unmarked in terms of spikes, horns, or other such things except for small spinal ridges that protruded from the back of the body's head to the base of the tail. The wings were the same color as the body, and were bat like, with three "fingers" to separate the membrane. They were rooted behind the forelegs (but not far back), not above. The head was aerodynamic, with the snout longer for the males than the females. I will include a picture of the head, because it is also difficult to describe, but easy to understand when you get a picture. Their eyes were catlike, with the pupil's slit running down the entire length of the eye (when centered). They were carnivorous. Now, I think I've bothered you all enough. Back to lurking until we find some huge stuff to talk about. =D

My otherkin race would be related to dragons, however a more humanized version. I do not remember what we called outselves. I remember the only distinguising features of my race were that we were much taller and had tails, rather heavier in bone and muscle but we blended in with humans for the most part if we kept our tails up. Humans don't like us... this was a past life but I believe it falls under this catagory.

I am a Devil of the Shadows.
I have no world, no lifestyle, no religion.
I am never in one spot for too long, unless I must be.

i think saying you have no lifestyle mocks the meaning of the term "lifestyle."
maybe you have no lifestyle, because your lifestyle is disrespecting you for mocking it.

That does not mean that YOU have the right to mock him though.

We have the right to live how we wish, am I right?
Mine is ever-changing. I travel, holding my freedom as my own priority. I make choices every day of my life, but they are independent of societal expectations.
There is no mockery I am making. My lifestyle cannot be defined, therefore I have no lifestyle.
I am free.

Very good description, if i may say so myself! I had to right a description today, of my friend getting his ass beat...*sigh*. I just stood there and watched him get his ass kicked. It only took one hit, the dude that was on him just backed up and then slugged him in the side of the face, as soon as my friend collapsed to the ground after that hit i could feel how bad he felt...it wasn't good.

Here's a brand new description, seeing as I'm older and all (great, imagine two decades from now what I'll be typing...well assuming I'll be alive to type it LMAO). I had.... a LOT of children. And I lived on E-arth (you know, this precies rock of ours). ^Major spiritual advancement. [/sarcasmdirectatme]

I am one of the last erithians. a race that lived in complete harmony by itself, we are like humans, as we are bipedal, but, we dont abuse our intelligence, as many humans do. But, our race started to decline over the death of my great grandfather, who was king of our land.
a giant war started, and just about the entire race was destroyed. us survivors have started mingiling with humans, and we live rather peaceful among them.

How exactly did this all go down? Was your race physical, or astral?

I'm dragon kin, of the "European" style, although I could shapeshift. Most common colours I was found in was jet-black with a dark bloody red "sheen" (kind of like an oil slick on water effect) with silver talons, fangs, eyes, spikes, etc.
I was a more "acute" version of my current human self. A little more aggressive, but I still loved to have fun and such.
