Well...I've met quite a few 'types' and 'ranks' of angels...
And not until recently, realized that there's high possibilty a darkwinged lives about two doors down from me.
Always thought there was something odd about him, but never really paid him much attention.
I have just recently come across one....The Seraphim...does anyone have more info on them outside of what's in the dictionary?

angels, or maybe guides, but when i was 3, my earliest memory i think, i remember seeing my grandpa, after he died, being escorted out of his ashes by two bright and glowing people, who were so bright, yet they didnt light up the area around them. bright whiteish-goldish light, i cant remember their faces, but they had the human shape body... i think they were looking away from me at the time. i was in my bedroom looking out the window.

I've had little experience with Angels. What I do know is that the four primary elements (earth, air, fire and water) have their own group of angles. Not always a specific type of angle, but just those that are drawn to that element.

Don't Seraphim have a rediculous number of wings?

Don't Seraphim have a rediculous number of wings? Generally, yes.

Heh, Leon usually gets annoyed by Seraphim. He got in a fight with one once, got into huge trouble. But they're pretty noble, that's for sure.

6 wings: 2 to cover there eyes(for even they can't put eyes upon god), 2 for the cardnal directions(or w/e it's spelled) and 2 for flying.

The Seraphs are indeed beautiful... but most of what people know about them are probably in those books hehe. They live closer to God than most other entities except the Aeons so its safe to say that they don't necessarily have "wings" per say since the higher into the heavens you go, the less material things get and the purer things become, lacking form of body but recognizable through form of mind if that makes any sense? Kind of like looking into a cloud of splendid lights and knowing which wisp of light is who and so on. Eyes, always the eyes can be seen though like silhouettes amidst an ocean of white light.
Cool stuff, but thats all that i really "remember". Wish i could tell you more.

Yes Xav, I have heard that more upwards and inwards you travel into the heavens, the less solid things get. I got a very good discription of a high place from an astral friend of mine. He used to be a physical friend till he crossed over. He said that in the place they brought him right after he passed. He called it big heaven, but really none of us fully understand that place, not fully. He said he could not tell where exactly he ended and the next person began. There was no point of reference... Iike "I am standing over by the piano." LOL There was no point of reference, no beginings or endings or divisions. There was no thought that could be hidden, or idea that wasn't out in the open, as far as his own mind went, or the minds of others. He said that everything was out in the open, and no secret was possible.
He made it into heaven, right though the main gate, but when given a choice he chose a place more familiar to him, on the outskirts... close to where I live, and work. He said he felt that place as wonderful, but confusing and unsettling in a way. He wanted a more tangibable home at least for now. The outer heavens near the back gate... well they are more like earth. There are tangible items, and the people are much like they are on earth, except sweeter and more honest, more pure I guess. They get along better, that much is for sure, and there is no dishonesty there, but it isn't as er... floaty for want of a better word.
We see a few of the Aeons here, especially Sophia, Gaia, and Eternity, and of course Jesus is around all over this place. Many angels live here, but it is also a place of many types of human souls. All are special and powerful, and individual. They all have different abilities, but at the same time there is no sense of pride or gloating or comparison between people like here on earth. Every one works together as a group.
I have never seen a seraph though, and archangels are not normaly dispatched here either, though I have maybe seen a couple in my time. I don't leave my area very often and if I have ever been to what they call big heaven, I don't remember it. I was wondering though... do you know, which is more powerful and high ranking, an archangel or a seraph. I would understand if you aren't sure, since heavens don't tend to stand that much on rank.
Also I was wondering how it is that some of us have the ability to be in many places at once. The more powerful, the more places, so that someone like Jesus for example can just be with everyone, where as more ordinary creatures like me, can be in maybe a couple dozen... not that I am consciously aware of all that, all the time, but I can flip back and forth in my awareness between a few places I am, so I know I am in more than one place... My brain doesn't have the capacity to comprehend all of that at once though.

Well for the most part, the term Archangel is more like a rank... for instance, Archangel Michael is a Seraph, Archangel Gabriel is of the Chrubim, and so on, so as far as i know its something of a Paragon... The Archangels are the Leaders i guess i could have said.
As for not seeing them often, they tend to stick close to the higher heavens, they all love it there but they also have a role to play, but that doesn't mean they don't venture out though, like other beings, they each have their own little quirks hehe.
And to the question of being in multiple places... one can only speculate but i think the simplest answer is that since beings with greater power have more energy to work with, they can "divide their attention" a certain amount of times depending on their station and purpose and or how much "power" they have to work with? O.o

Thanks for clearing that up Xav! I didn't know that. So could an angel be promoted to arch, or demoted away from being an arch? I mean I know that if an Archangel falls, he would loose his position, but other than that is it pretty much static, or are their ups and downs in that?
The only Archangels I ever see are former archangels that were fallen, and have made an appeal to the mothers to re-join. Falling doesn't have to be the end, and the mothers are in fact actively recruiting fallens at this time. I guess they loose their rank when they fall, but the ones I have seen seem bigger and more powerful, than the average reinstated angels. Angels fell or went renegade for a variety of reasons and not all of them even knew Lucifer.
Under the Grace, and Mercy of Jesus Christ angels too, can make their peace with God, and once again serve. Usually angels admitted to the lower heavens stay there under the command of the lower mothers, for a long while. Thus a mother gets to keep her recruits with her. As one of at least 14 Mercies, I have become an avid recruiter, and works hard to bring angels to our side. Why fight an enemy who could be easily converted to your side. A trip to big heaven insures their loyalty, and intentions. I have found converted fallens to be extremely loyal, and trustworthy, but most don't seem to crave advancement, like you would think they would. They seem very content in their stations. They are very interested in their work which is very demanding. They are humble, and eager to please. They like the more permissive rules of lower heaven, and generally don't complain about their heavy work load, or intense battles.
Mercy runs a lower area of heavens... actually my place is on the edge, but it is very large. WE have had to enlarge it most recently because of the multitude of people and angels who live here... and we get a lot of tourists too. LOL Sometimes people from the higher heavens come here for a break, just to feel the solidity, and earthlike quality of the place.
That makes a lot of sense. I don't think I used to be in as many places as I am now. I thought it was just a matter of awareness but maybe I am in more places now... because I have picked up more energy... spiritual energy anyway... in the physical I am still tired. I just wish my physical brain could keep up with all the things going on. It is impossible to keep up with my various parts mentally.
It feels like mental/spiritual growing pains in a way, and at times I feel really brain fried from just trying to be aware of things. I guess in time I'll get used to it. IT would help if I understood it better. LOL
